Ingredients
- Beef Brisket: 3-4 pounds
- BBQ Sauce: 1 cup
- Brown Sugar: 1/4 cup
- Garlic Powder: 1 teaspoon
- Onion Powder: 1 teaspoon
- Salt: 1 teaspoon
- Pepper: 1 teaspoon
Instructions
- Rinse the beef brisket under cold water and pat it dry with paper towels.
- Trim any large pieces of fat from the brisket.
- In a medium bowl, combine BBQ sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
- Rub the BBQ sauce mixture all over the brisket and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Place the seasoned brisket in a slow cooker on low heat and cook for 8 to 10 hours.
- Once done, remove the brisket from the slow cooker and let it rest for 15 minutes before slicing.
Notes
- For best flavor, marinate overnight if possible.
- Slice against the grain for the best texture.
- Serve with extra BBQ sauce on the side.
