Ingredients
- Ground beef: 1 pound
- Diced potatoes: 2 cups
- Bell peppers (any color): 1 cup, diced
- Onion: 1 medium, diced
- Garlic: 2 cloves, minced
- Paprika: 1 teaspoon
- Olive oil: 2 tablespoons
- Salt: to taste
- Pepper: to taste
Instructions
- Prepare the ingredients by washing, peeling, and dicing the potatoes, chopping the bell peppers and onion, and mincing the garlic.
- In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat and cook the diced potatoes for about 10-15 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil, sauté the diced onion and bell peppers for about 5 minutes, then add the minced garlic and paprika, cooking for another minute.
- Push the vegetables to the side, add the ground beef, and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes, seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Combine the crispy potatoes back into the skillet, stir everything together, and cook for an additional 5 minutes. Adjust seasoning if needed and serve hot.
Notes
- Serve hot for the best texture.
- Garnish with fresh herbs or cheese for added flavor.
- Pair with eggs for breakfast or a salad for a lighter meal.
