Ingredients
- Chicken breasts or thighs: 1 pound
- Honey: 1/3 cup
- Soy sauce: 1/4 cup
- Garlic, minced: 4 cloves
- Ginger, grated: 1 tablespoon
- Olive oil: 2 tablespoons
- Sesame seeds (optional): 1 tablespoon
- Green onions, chopped (for garnish): 2 tablespoons
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken by combining soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, and grated ginger in a bowl. Add chicken and coat well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Prepare the sauce by heating the remaining marinade in a saucepan over medium heat until it simmers, then reduce heat and let it thicken for about 5 minutes.
- Cook the marinated chicken in olive oil over medium-high heat for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Pour the prepared sauce over the cooked chicken, reduce heat to low, and simmer for another 5 minutes to absorb flavors.
