Ingredients
- Fresh salmon fillets: 2 (6-ounce) fillets
- Romaine lettuce: 1 large head
- Caesar dressing: 1/2 cup
- Croutons: 1 cup
- Shaved parmesan cheese: 1/4 cup
- Olive oil: 2 tablespoons
- Salt and pepper: To taste
Instructions
- Rinse the salmon fillets under cold water and pat them dry with a paper towel. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat, brush with olive oil, and grill the salmon skin-side down for 4-5 minutes on each side until cooked through.
- Wash the romaine lettuce, remove wilted leaves, chop into bite-sized pieces, and place in a large salad bowl.
- If making homemade dressing, combine mayonnaise, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, and minced garlic in a bowl and whisk until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
- Assemble the salad by adding the chopped romaine to a bowl, drizzling with Caesar dressing, tossing gently, flaking the grilled salmon on top, and sprinkling with croutons and shaved parmesan.
Notes
- Store leftover components separately to maintain freshness.
- Best enjoyed immediately after assembling for optimal flavor and texture.
- Consider using fresh, wild-caught salmon for the best taste.
